Lynwood Ferndale’s Adam Shaw celebrates game 300 Wed, May 16, 2018 - 2:08 PM

On Saturday 19 May Lynwood Ferndale C2 Reserves player Adam Shaw will celebrate his 300-game milestone.

Adam started playing junior football for the Lynwood Ferndale Junior Football Club when he was six years old, playing around 167 games.

In 1990 the Lynwood Ferndale Junior Football Club amalgamated with the Lynwood Ferndale Amateur Football Club where Adam has been ever since.

In his time at the club he has been assistant coach of the U16’s, coached the U17’s and U18’s as well as being a committee member from 1999- 2013.

In 2004 he reached 150 games, receiving life membership of the club for his milestone.

He was made joint club captain in 2007 and played in the 2012 C2 premiership team.

Adam was senior president of the Lynwood Ferndale Football Club in 2014 and 2015.

Adam will be in action this Saturday against the Canning South Perth Football Club at Wyong Reserve.

The WAAFL congratulates Adam Shaw on reaching 300 games.
