University Claim Back to Back A Grade Premierships

University Football Club claimed the A Grade Premiership and the Sandover Shield last Saturday to make it back to back premierships for the club.

The A Grade Grand Final held at Steel Blue Oval was a close hit out with University taking the lead early in the game. Wesley Curtin fought back with late goals in the second term to bring the score back to fifteen points at the main break.

WAAFL Welcomes Four New Inductees into the Hall of Champions

On Monday August 31 the WAAFL hosted the sixth annual Hall of Champions Dinner. The Hall of Champions honours those individuals who have made long, significant and commendable contributions to the WAAFL, to help make it the strong and respected sporting body that it is today. This year the WAAFL inducted four new members into the Hall of Champions-  Brad Dunn, Keith Slater, David Perry and Neil Donaldson.
